Tenants knit teddies for children
Tenants in West Lothian got down to the knitty-gritty by making teddy bears to help children in need.
They got busy with their needles to make the bears for Trauma Teddies, a partnership between the police and charity Children 1st.
The teddy bears are given to children by police to help comfort them if they have been affected by a traumatic or distressing event.
Margaret Tait, a supported tenant from Templar Rise in West Lothian knitted the bears alson with Barony staff Catherine Hunter, Anne Jackson and Mary Johnson.
They were handed over to Police Scotland’s PC Welsh and PC Collins, who popped in to say thank you and tell the tenants a bit more about the work they do.
